NWGA (the North Wales Geology Association) has organised a field trip to the Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda, based on the Llanberis Slates outcrop, Nant Ffrancon.
Visits to this site are not easily organised due to its status as a working quarry and home to the iconic ZIPWORLD attraction. NWGA have a few places still available on this trip tomorrow – 15th July – but please act quickly if you wish to be included. Further details are available from:
