Talks and social, on 26th March 2026 at RCA Conwy, commencing at 18:00

Please note the change from our usual 3rd Thursday to the 4th Thursday for this month only. Another change for this month is that we will have 2 short talks, with plenty of time for socialising before, between and after. Our speakers will be Alexandra Scarlett, from Viridian, presenting work on AI and remote sensing-derived layers for mineral prospectivity in Oman, and Barrie Wells, Conwy Valley Systems, following up on one of last year’s talks on facies associations by relating that to current developments in geostatistics.

The venue is as usual, the RCA in Conwy (behind Plas Mawr), and the time unchanged: refreshments will be available from 18:00 and the first talk will start at 18:30.  If you are planning to attend, please let us know by e-mailing admin@Geoscience. Wales, so we can cater accordingly. We hope to see you there.
